2008 N.I.E. Bass Challenge

On a hazy, hot and humid day, 82 anglers competed in the 8th annual Newspapers in Education Bass Challenge at the Shikellamy State Park Marina. Proceeds benefit the Newspapers in Education program at The Daily Item, which promotes literacy and helps teachers use current events as a teaching tool in local schools.
